“Marie certainly exemplifies the spirit of this award. She is extremely well-respected in the Utah water industry and beyond. We are so happy that she’s at AE2S,” says Sam Fankhauser, AE2S Operations Manager.
“I am immensely honored to have received the Charles W. Wilson award. It was founded as a memorial to an individual whose impact is still being felt throughout the Utah market. Charlie was known for being progressive, smart, inclusive, kind, and most importantly a mentor. I have personally benefitted from his influence throughout my career and am humbled to be included with the elite individuals who have been recognized by this award over the years. I am grateful that my career has allowed me opportunities to pay his legacy forward and allowed me to make a positive impact on the individuals and industry that provide this life sustaining resource to communities throughout Utah,” she says.
Marie joined the AE2S office in Lehi, Utah in mid-2021 with more than two decades of experience. Most recently, she served as the Director of the Division of Drinking Water at the Utah Department of Environmental Quality.
