3600 WEST 10200 SOUTH PUMP STATION
West Jordan, Utah
AE2S is currently completing the design for a new 80 cfs pump station to replace existing infrastructure and meet future projected demand. The new station will be built out in phases and will initially run in parallel to an existing station on the same site.
Full buildout of the new station will occur when the existing facility has reached the end of its serviceable life.
The project included coordinating efforts with civil, structural, process, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines for equipment sizing, piping alignment, utility needs, conceptual layouts, permitting, and construction sequencing.

Date: 2020 – Present
Client: Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District
Key Project Elements
- Seismic/Structural Evaluation
- Hydraulic Modeling
- Valves, Meters, Piping
- Instrumentation & Controls
- Medium Voltage Design
Much like the proposed pump stations for the District, the need for the JVWCD pump station was identified due to growing demand in the area. As a new pump station, the process from site identification through final completion is nearly identical to this project.
Pump station work requires civil, structural, architectural, process, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines, all of which are represented in the proposed projects as well. The AE2S design team for the proposed pump stations is very similar to the JVWCD project team. This provides the District with cohesiveness among team members and efficiencies in project delivery.
